GetValues

This function returns a string formatted as XML containing NASA MOVAS time series data. The data are spatially averaged over the extent specified by the bounding lat/lon coordinates. The data are temporally averaged with a monthly time step.

The dataset begins at March 1, 2000. The end of the available data will change over time. It usually is 6 months to a year behind.

Valid VariableCode values include:

0 - Aerosol Optical Depth at 0.55 Micron
1 - Aerosol Fine Mode Fraction
2 - Fine Mode Aerosol Optical Depth (Ocean)
3 - Cirrus Fraction NIR Method
    4 - Cirrus Reflectance
5 - Cloud Fraction Daytime IR Method
6 - Cloud Effective Radius Combined Phase (QA WT)
7 - Cloud Effective Radius Ice Phase (QA WT)
8 - Cloud Effective Radius Water Phase (QA WT)
9 - Cloud Optical Thickness Combined Phase (QA WT)
10 - Cloud Optical Thickness Ice Phase (QA WT)
11 - Cloud Optical Thickness Water Phase (QA WT)
    12 - Cloud Top Pressure
    13 - Cloud Top Temperature
14 - Water Vapor Clear Sky NIR Method
15 - Water Vapor Above Cloud NIR Method
16 - Water Vapor Column IR Method (QA WT)
17 - Corrected Fire Pixel Count

Valid PlotArea values include:

landocean - spatial averaging includes land and ocean
ocean - spatial averaging includes only ocean
land - spatial averaging includes only land

Test arguments: GetValues("GEOM:BOX(-180 -90,180 90)", "MODIS:11/plotarea=landocean", 2000-10-01, 2001-12-01, "" )
