 | Click select to identify the variable to be mapped |
 | Find a matching keyword from the tree either by browsing or using the search box.
Double click on the keyword that matches the variable. |
 | The center panel will be refreshed. The new panel allows the mapping to be finalized.Click
on "Map!' to complete the process. |
 | If you can not find a matching term, find a related term that is a broader concept
and select a subclass of it identified as "Other". In the example provided, the user can not find the term "Copper" in the tree view above, thus selects "Other" under "Heavy Metals"
since Copper is a heavy metal. In this case user can suggest inclusion of a new term by providing the desired name in the "suggest" box at the bottom. Update request will be examined by an administrator and a new keyword will be added to the system
once it is approved. |
